Die Bildhauerin Gertraud Wendland (hier im August 2001) und François Maher Presley sind seit vielen Jahren befreundet. Es wurden mehrere Ausstellungen zusammen durchgeführt, um das Werk der aus Ostdeutschland stammenden Künstlerin auch im Westen Deutschlands bekannt zu machen.
Wendland erhielt zahllose Auszeichnungen, ist unzählige Male im öffentlichen Raum oder Museen, zudem in vielen privaten Sammlungen vertreten.
The sculptress Gertraud Wendlandt (here in August 2001) and François Maher Presley are friends for many years. There were several exhibitons realized together to publish the work of the artist who comes from East Germany also in the West.
Wendland recieved numerous awards, is presented countless times in public areas or museums and addtitionally in many private collections.
