François Maher Presley and the Forum Alstertal present traditional and modern art and culture from West Africa. Part of the proceeds from this sales exhibition will go to the non-profit association Akwaaba (Welcome) who is collecting donations for a school project in a Ghanaian province.

The live band plays gamelan music during the entrance. The guests are greeted with a customary drink. Then it sounds gong. Dyah Narang-Huth recites a poem and is accompanied by gamelan. After the welcome by François Maher Presley, the Consul General of Indonesia, His Excellency, Mr. Idaa Bagus Putu Djendra, spoke a few words.
