Few people know the term “artificial stairs”. The "staircase" is more common. Staircases are parts of a building that vertically connect different floors of a house. While stairwells in today's large buildings are purpose-built, wherever possible, they are only given the smallest part of the building and equipped to be functional and particularly space-saving, in the past stairwells were not only differentiated according to their function, but also furnished accordingly. A brief history, a philosophical interpretation.
