Another station of the traveling exhibition Rehabilitation through art and cultureis the town hall in Waldheim in central Saxony. The oldest penal institution still in operation in Germany is located in Waldheim and has just celebrated its 300th anniversary. Parts of this book have also been researched here.

François Maher PresleyThe book published and accompanied by its content deals with the changes in the penal system. Experts in the judiciary also comment on the subject, as do three murderers who take part in these therapies as long-term prisoners and are interviewed about it. The volume is richly illustrated and shows the work of those affected from the fields of visual arts, theater, literature and model making.
