The first museum founded by the sponsor, the Hamburger Telemann-Gesellschaft (HTG), to present the work of Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767) requires a sustainable financial basis to secure research, maintenance and promotion of his extensive work. This financing is to be secured from the museum's current income and from donations from a foundation.
