Little Princess Françoise lives far from her parents in a castle in the Saxon province, which is partly used as a penitentiary. She befriends the prisoner Karl May, whom she appoints the royal storyteller. Every day Karl tells the princess fairy-tale stories that he brings back from his rides on the flying white horse.

François Maher Presley's greatest wish is to be able to leave the castle in spite of the for her insurmountable walls to meet the fairy tale characters ... With this book, the author François Maher Presley presents for the first time a children's book that is designed as a hands-on book and that also received a theatrical version. The text received a musical implementation that was recorded by the children's choir of the Leipzig Opera under the direction of Sophie Bauer.
