This volume, edited by Ursula Willer, shows the history of the estate and the village of Wellingsbüttels, which is closely linked to the great noble houses of Europe. It is also very beautifully and colorfully illustrated on 164 pages. The author and photographer François Maher Presley took detailed shots that, put together on double pages, also show a bit his modern and artistic point of view of Wellingsbüttel, but convey it just as beautifully. The citizens of Wellingsbüttel love nature and especially the flowers. This has been taken into account in the book. Many views of the building were combined with numerous floral motifs, a homage to the many gardens in the district. Various images represent, for example, the marketplace, retail trade or restaurants. Right at the beginning, Wellingsbüttel is shown as part of Hamburg with beautiful motifs of the HafenCity with the Elbphilharmonie, the port or the Speicherstadt.
