Michael Edmund Rösel wurde am 22.08.1965 in München geboren. Nach seiner Ausbildung zum Kälteanlagenbauer, studierte er von 1990 bis 1996 in Regensburg und an der Fakultät für Medizin der technischen Universität München, wo er sein Staatsexamen absolvierte und 1998 zum Thema "Die äußere Wendung" promovierte.
Im Zeitraum von 1999 bis 2003 arbeitete Michael Edmund Rösel im AA Krankenhaus Schrobenhausen (Bauch-, Unfallchirurgie, innere Medizin), praktizierte von 2003 bis 2008 in Karslhuld, Bayern, lebt und arbeitet seit 2009 in Santanyi auf Mallorca, hat drei Kinder und fühlt sich seit seiner Jungend der Literatur verpflichtet, hier speziell der Philosophie.
Neben seinen sonstigen Aktivitäten fördert er Künstler und gemeinnützige Organisationen, deren Aktivitäten auf dem Gebiet der Kunst und Kultur stattfinden.
Michael Edmund Rösel initiierte das Kinderbuch "Prinzessin Françoise und der königliche Geschichtenerzähler" und diente schon zuvor François Maher Presley
als Hauptprotagonist für dessen Band "Gedanken zum Strand. Eine mallorquinische Erzählung."

Michael Edmund Rösel was born on 22.08.1965 in Munich. After training as a refrigeration-plant engineer, he studied from 1990 to 1996 in Regensburg and at the Faculty of Medicine of the Technical University of Munich, where he passed the state exam and received his doctorate in 1998 on the subject of "The external cephalic version".
In the period from 1999 to 2003 Michael Edmund Rösel worked at the Hospital Schrobenhausen (abdominal- and trauma-surgery, internal medicine), worked as a general practitioner from 2003 to 2008 in Karslhuld, Bavaria, lives and works in Santanyi on Mallorca since 2009, has three children and has been committed to literature, especially philosophy & physics, since his youth.
In addition to his other activities, he supports artists and non-profit organizations whose activities take place in the field of culture & art.
Michael Edmund Rösel initiated the children's book "Princess Françoise and the Royal Storyteller" and is one of the main protagonist in the book "Thoughts on the Beach. A Mallorcan tale". written by François Maher Presley.
